The Education Services Group of Wylie & Bisset has been in existence since 1992, Ross McLauchlan heads the team with the support of Allister Gray. The team has technical back up from consultants who have expertise in senior management roles including risk management.

The Wylie & Bisset team believe in proactive, constructive advice to assist the Boards of Management and relevant committees of the colleges for which we act.   Our Education Unit provides both external audit services (through Audit Scotland) and internal audit services to 25 colleges through Scotland and England.

Further Education Update

On the 18th July 2007 OSCR published its findings in relation to the pilot of the rolling review of charitable status for Scottish charities. OSCR’s findings have implications for most of Scotland’s Further Education Colleges. The report is over 75 pages long so we have prepared a brief newsletter summarising the findings.
