Wylie & Bisset are one of Scotland’s longest established larger independent firms of chartered accountants, providing a full range of services to clients including audit (both internal and external), accountancy and valued added, corporate and personal taxation, business advisory, corporate finance and consultancy services. The firm operates a dedicated insolvency department which provides debt solutions to both consumers and businesses.

About the job

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop the full range of internal audit, compliance and risk management skills and experience.  The successful candidate will be fully supported through professional training (IIA).  We require an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in audit assignments
  • Liaising with the full range of clients – private, public and charitable sectors

Supervisor/Senior Manager

About you

You must be able to contribute to a professional environment and work effectively across our client base.  You must hold an honours degree (2:1 minimum) and hold Higher grade Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications).  An ability to plan and achieve deadlines is essential in order to achieve staged exam success as well as effectively deliver to our clients.  A quality approach to work, positive communication skills, enthusiasm and ambition are key to success.

Other Information

Based:  The role will be based at our Bath Street offices

Hours:  37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri
